Skeleton Key Cocktail
The combination of bourbon, elderflower liqueur, and bitters is elegant and sppoky!
Servings 1 cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
- 3/4 oz elderflower liqueur
- 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3 to 4 oz ginger beer
- 8 dashes Angostura bitters
- Garnish: lemon peel
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail glass with ice. Add bourbon, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice. Top off with ginger beer. Give the cocktail a quick stir to combine.
- Slowly pour in the bitters on top so that they float. Let the bitters sink down slowly to get that rusty effect throughout the glass.
- Garnish with a lemon peel and serve.
