- 1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
- 3/4 oz elderflower liqueur
- 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3 to 4 oz ginger beer
- 8 dashes Angostura bitters
- Garnish: lemon peel
Fill a cocktail glass with ice. Add bourbon, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice. Top off with ginger beer. Give the cocktail a quick stir to combine.
Slowly pour in the bitters on top so that they float. Let the bitters sink down slowly to get that rusty effect throughout the glass.
Garnish with a lemon peel and serve.
