1cupvodka or gin
cocktail
1cupchile infused vodka
1 1/2cupsfresh grapefruit juice
Coarse kosher salt
Ice cubes
Grapefruit wedges or slices
Chile pepper slices

Combine chiles and vodka or gin in a mason jar or airtight container. Let infuse for up to 1 to 3 hours, checking the mixture every hour to test the level of heat. When the flavor is where you want it, strain out the chile peppers and seeds, discarding them.
Use the grapefruit wedges to moisten the rims of two rocks glasses. Rim the glasses with coarse salt. Set aside.
Fill 4 cocktail glasses with ice.
Divide infused vodka or gin between the salt-rimmed glasses.
