ingredients

  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp peppercorns
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 2 sprigs oregano
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Airtight container that can accommodate at least 2 cups of liquid

instructions

  • Freeze the marinated goat cheese in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to allow it to firm up a bit. Then cut into thick slices or roll into balls - totally your preference! Add the goat cheese slices or balls to the airtight container. Pour in the olive oil and add all the spices. Seal the container and allow to marinate for at least 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Serve with crusty bread and be sure to get some of those herbs with every bite! I like to grab a peppercorn or two for extra pop.
