- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp fresh basil finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh oregano finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 16 oz bocconcini or ciliegine mozzarella drained
Stir together olive oil, garlic, herbs, red pepper flakes, and salt in a large bowl.
Add mozzarella balls and stir to coat.
Allow to marinate for at least 1 hour, but longer is better. The longer they sit, the better they will taste!
Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
